In 2018 received the John Minson scholarship award for his efforts as a singer/songwriter and notable musician in the Tamworth Community, becoming the first person to receive this prestigious award and scholarship, Also playing along such acts in the Maton Guitar showcase in the same year with Adam Ekersley, Brooke Mclymont,Laurie Minson, Kevin Bennett and many more, also opening for acts such as the Wolfe Brothers on there country heart tour and Hurricane Fall.
